Update steps: Upgrade the plugin, upgrade the XMOS firmware as per user manual. Connect to the unit with the plugin (you must be live and synchronized). Restore to default all your configuration or click "update DSP" to update your DSP configuration.

Step by Step DSP firmware upgrade: 

1) Disconnect outputs to your audio equipment. This step is very important!

2) Make a backup of your 4 x setting.xml configurations stored in My Documents\MiniDSP\miniSHARC-4x8\setting and copy them to another folder of your PC

3) Install this new plug-in on your PC. It will automatically overwrite the older plug-in install file. 

4) Connect with the plug-in by clicking on the Green sync button

5) On the first dialog box at synchronization, Make sure to select "Upgrade & Synchronize" (if you have that Option) OR Click Restore to Default. This step is very important to reflash 

6) You can now load the saved/backed up configuration you had and reconnect your equipment.

Dirac Live Calibration tools for DDRC-88 series with DDRC-88A tools

DDRC-88A software for both DDRC-88A units and DDRC-88BM. One software does it all!

New firmware + new plugin requiring upgrade.

- Embedded a debug firmware function so that user are not required to update the firmware for debug logging, just need to connect to the 'MiniDSP_Logger' app and click 'Debug Enabled' to print out the log through Ethernet. 

- Fixed the bug of device halted when sending data out from USB to Windows 10 PC which happened when changing volume or switching sources/presets. 

- Re-assert the channel mode to the downstream AVR after HDCP handshake was completed. This is used as a workaround for some downstream AVRs which default back to stereo mode after HDCP handshake which cannot get back to multi-channel mode by itself.

This driver must be downloaded and installed on all Windows PC platforms no matter the USB Streamer firmware version you're running.

This driver must be downloaded and installed on all Windows PC platforms no matter the UDAC8 firmware version you're running.

- Firmware binary files are included as part of the ZIP file and organized with following folder structure

ADAT_I2S: 8ch bidirectional 48/44.1k over ADAT format + I2S

TOSLINK_I2S: Stereo Toslink + 8ch bidirectional

Low sample rate: Low sample rate support

UDAC8: Run only for UDAC8

In each folder, 2 x binary files are included in case you are using 2 x USBStreamer concurrently. Flash one unit with a different ID# to be able to discover both units.
